Day 6 - Neuschwanstein

The first thing we did today was hop on a bus for our bike tour that was two hours away. We arrived at our destination and went on a very scenic two hour bike tour around two castles. Afterwards, we had lunch at the Schloss Brauhaus!



I chose the Käsespatze. It's sort of like their own take on Mac and cheese. It was pretty good and after lunch, we went on the tour of the Neuschwanstein. It was a pretty steep hike up, but very much worth it all.



Here is the castle in all its glory! Such an awesome view and beautiful castle. Some call it the Disney castle. After our tour, we got back on the bus back to Munich where we had dinner at the Hofbräuhaus,




It was absolutely delicious and they put on an amazing show with dancing and traditional music playing. It really creates an amazing atmosphere for all. A lot of us ordered an apple juice with sparkling water mix and really enjoyed it.



Here it is! They serve it in a traditional mug of sorts and our "Prost" was something to be reckoned with! We cheered loudly and clinked glasses and had an overall fantastic time together. Tonight is also our last day as just the Americans. Tomorrow morning we head off to Stuttgart with our host families!
