Day 9 - School and Public Viewing

Today was our second day of school. We began at 7:45 as usual and everyone went off to their first classes. Today was the first day of presentations and a few groups had them today. My group and I, with the topic of the Evolution of American Music had to present once as well. We were pretty ready for the presentation and it went pretty well, given the fact we presented it to a 7th grade English class. We got to do the presentation in English and we got to help them practice their English after our presentations.

Today, my exchange partner and I got to go home at 12:50 and had some fantastic chicken for lunch. Then we had a food coma induced nap before heading to a restaurant for a public viewing of the soccer game with some of the other students on the exchange. 

Today, the German National Football team defeated the Northern Ireland team by a score of 1-0 and we were fortunate enough to watch it at a public restaurant which was an extremely fun and interesting experience as we don't do much like that in the USA. We have officially begun our school week and it's very different from school at GBS and I must say I'm almost excited to keep going for the rest of the two weeks.
